Roxanne L. Anderson -ChairRoxanne Anderson is the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) Ottawa office Managing Partner. Roxanne is also the partner responsible for PwC's Canadian Federal Government Services Practice. Roxanne joined PwC in 1985, was appointed Partner in 2001 and has over 22 years of experience. Roxanne's expertise consists of dealing with financial management both in the private and public sector. She has led a wide range of multidisciplinary projects aimed at assisting the Canadian Federal Government in the area of financial management which have in turn involved transformation, policy and strategic advice. In the private sector, Roxanne has assisted fiinancially troubled companies. Since joining the firm, Roxanne has completed three overseas secondments. The first was a short term secondment to Auckland, New Zealand and the second, a two year secondment to Melbourne, Australia. Roxanne completed a third overseas secondment in the summer of 2004 when she assisted the nongovernmental organization, World Links, in India as part of PricewaterhouseCoopers' prestigious Ulysses leadership program. In 1993, together with other senior females at PwC, Roxanne launched the Women's Initiative Network, a marketing vehcile focusing on the niche market of businesswomen. Roxanne has been a speaker at numerous industry and professional events and serves on the Board of the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research and on the Board of Governors for CCAF. In 2001, Canadian Business Magazine named Roxanne one of the top five turnaround specialists in Canada. |
