Wendy L. Cohen

Wendy L. Cohen had a 25-year career with the federal government in international relations, communications, trade and economic policy and law, working for both the (former) Department of Communications and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

She has worked in support of the advancement of women and development, democracy and world peace through her association with the Rt. Hon. Kim Campbell, the Canadian Club, and various community and cultural projects. She is an active member of the Canadian Federation of University Women and the International Club of Ottawa. An advocate for mental health research and better clinical care, she has served on the IMHR Board for four and a half years. Mrs. Cohen is a director of Chartwell Communications Consultants Inc., and has a M.A. in Legal Studies and International Law.
