Anne Joynt

Anne Joynt is former President and CEO of Canada Post Corporation. She contributed to the transformation of this company that now has been profitable for many years.

During that time, Canada Post became the top-ranked Crown Corporation with annual revenues of over $6 Billion while connecting Canadians in every corner of the land. As the country's sixth largest employer and a major contributor to the National economy, she oversaw the provision of vital services to over 30 million Canadians and more than one million businesses. In the International arena she was a member of the International Postal Commission. She has also filled senior

executive positions in all aspects of business including Operations, Human Resources, Marketing and Product Management, Information Technology, and Administration.

After graduating from Carleton University with a B.Sc., she began her career in Information Technology, with Statistics Canada and Energy Mines and Resources (National Energy program). She is a graduate of the Northeastern University(Boston) Management Development Program.

She is a past Board Member of Purolator Courier; United Way Cabinet, and a current member of the following: Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions(OSFI), Audit Committee; Advisory Council on National Security, Leadership Committee of the United Way; Carleton University, Advisory Board, Women in Development.
