the two kidneys play a vital role in homeostatis by processing the blood a waste fluid called urine. By so doing, the kidneys are carrying out two major functions. first is excretion of unwanted, and potentially poisonous,metabolic wastes produced by cells,notably urea, a nitrogenous waste product generated by the deamination  of amino acid in the liver. second is osmoregulation, the removal of excess water and salts in order to maintain constant levels of water and salts in the blood.

The kidney does not filter urine,urine is the fluid filtered by the kidney,it is the product of unnecessary substance inside the body in which the body needs to excrete out  as a waste,it is not only filtering of the fluid inside the body the work of the kidney but it is also its job to collect all the salt or sodium chloride inside the body and allocate it in the whole body to make sure that the salt are all equal in distribution,it helps to normalize the supply in the body for the salt has a big function to our human body,it helps to give us an adequate supply for the function of all glands inside it from pituitary glands,digestive glands,sex glands and so on,once there were an abundant supply the kidney would be having a hard job inside our body but if its not sufficient we'll have a bad feeling too,our body would not be quite normal,that is why we need to take it moderately...
