Verner Knott (PhD)

Verner Knott is Director of the Neuroelectrophysiology & Cognitive Research Laboratory. Dr. Knott's interests focus on the combined utilization of electroencephalography (EEG), event-related potentials (ERPs) and computerized behavioural tasks to examine the neuroelectrophysiological and cognitive correlates of psychiatric disorders (depression, schizophrenia, panic, dementia) and pharmacotherapeutic treatments. He has a special interest in nicotine dependence and it's comorbidity with psychiatric illnesses. Dr. Knott has published over 100 original research articles and given 95 presentations at scientific conferences around the world.
